Middle School Students
Project Next Tee (PNTee) offers a wide array of resources to assist with the golf and personal development of pre high school youth. Many of our middle school students are introduced to a wide variety of sports, but not golf. PNTee is working to introduce the game of golf earlier in the lives of middle school students to insure longer playing time when reaching high school and college years. The primary reason why middle schoolers stop golfing even though they might enjoy the sport, is because their friends do not golf. PNTee will provide an atmosphere where PNTee middle school participants can golf and enjoy each other's company for many years to come. Middle school participants are exposed to the proper resources to assist them with evaluating golf as their sport of choice.
Golf Introduction by PNTee Mentor
- Educate participant and family of business and playing career opportunities in the golf industry
- Monitor participant's interest in golf
- Track participant's golf playing ability (growth or decline)
Health and Wellness
- Quarterly 20 minute exercise videos for daily exercise regimen
- Quarterly information of Mind and Spirit best practices to participant and parents
- Monthly nutrition newsletter for participants and parents
Golf Sponsorship and Instruction
Available resources are based on assessed skill level
- Participation in PGA Junior Golf League
- Group golf instruction with a local PGA Instructor
- One-on-One golf instruction with a local PGA Instructor
- Optional participation in PNTee Golf League
- Optional participation in The First Tee
