High School Students

The primary focus of Project Next Tee (PNTee) with our high school participants is to assist them with navigating the college selection and application process, and, receiving a free college education from securing a golf scholarship. Each participant is assigned a college and adult PNTee Mentor. The college mentor will educate the participant on college life and college golf. The adult mentor will work with each participant and their family to develop a project plan tied to their specific short term and long term goals. Each PNTee participant undergoes a golf skills evaluation, and based on the results of this evaluation, the appropriate resources are then allocated to assist the participant execute their project plan, thus ensuring a successful project completion.

Customized Project Plan by PNTee Mentor

Assign an adult and college PNTee Mentor.
Educate student and family of business and playing career opportunities in the golf industry.
Consult with student and their family to create their project plan.
Provide information and resources to assist with project plan execution.
Monitor and adjust project plan as needed.
Provide contact information of colleges and universities with collegiate golf programs and scholarships to participants aspiring to play collegiate golf.
Provide consultation to participants to assist with the selection, completion, and submission of college admission applications to collegiate golf colleges and universities.
Provide assistance with communication with collegiate golf coaches.

Golf Sponsorship and Instruction

Available resources are based on assessed skill level

Sponsorship in AJGA local tournaments
Sponsorship in local state golf association tournaments
One-on-one golf instruction with a local PGA Instructor
Participation in PNTee Golf League
Optional participation in PNTee High School Golf Camp
Optional participation in The First Tee
